Sr. Materials Manager


 

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations or similiar. Master's Degree is a plus. 10+ years of experience in all areas of Materials in a management role. Multi-plant experience is required. Responsible for: Procurement, sourcing, forecasting, master scheduling, MRP, demand planning, inventory, and risk management. Implements metrics and KPIs, oversees material warehousing, ensures compliance with local and global regulations.

DESCRIPTION:

The Materials Manager will have site responsibility for MRP, inventory, scheduling, production planning, procurement, materials management transportation, compliance, warehousing and logistics for two facilities, including other activities. Will work in collaboration with the organization to strategically develop, align and implement supply chain strategies which ensures the value chain network, forecasting, procurement, key supplier relationships, operating model, engineering, processes, capabilities and systems will support short and long-term improvements, delivery performance, asset effectiveness, supply flexibility and availability all while improving the company's bottom line results.

Continuous Improvement Leader


 

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Engineering. Certified Black Belt. Heavy Lean manufacturing experience with demonstrated results. This will be a management level position; management experience is a must. Strong continuous improvement background.

Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma). Diagrams and evaluates existing processes. Manage and lead continuous improvement projects, as well as mentoring and coaching employees on continuous improvement Lean and Lean Six Sigma. Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. Collect data to identify root cause of problems. Align improvement to performance shortfalls. Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes. Performs cost and benefit analyses. Determine and implement efficient ways to manufacture and assemble components. Ensure efficient flow and C.I. through Value Stream Mapping.

Quality Manager


 

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Knowledge of TS 16949 and ISO 14000; certified internal auditor. 10+ years of experience in same role. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. NPI experience, APQP, Excel, innovated thinker, 8D, PFMEA, 5 why's, SPC, control plan, etc. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

 

DESCRIPTION:

Maintains sound working relationships with customers quality personnel, produces written reports and presentations when necessary. Establishes quality standards for customer products in conjunction with customer specification, company procedures and corporate objectives. Maintains the quality information databases, prepares performance and audit reports for internal and external use. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Maintain quality performance reporting (scrap, rework, ppm, returns) from all projects and provide facility-wide performance report. Acting as technical expert within the quality department. Designs and implements quality training programs and works with customers and suppliers on quality issues.

Customer Service Manager


 

Bachelor's Degree in operations, engineering, business, or related. Master's in business administration or customer experience is preferred. 10+ years of experience working in a customer service management role (director level or higher). Strong understanding and experience in the "end to end" order to ship process including forecasting, material planning, product planning/scheduling, shipping and customer delivery. Latest customer support software and collaboration tools to help front-line representatives be more effective and efficient with customers. Development and on-going monitoring of key metrics in order to measure customer service performance within the organization/company on a continuous basis. Experience working with ERP systems, experience with Plex or SAP is desired. Must be able to handle a large and diverse group of customers. Must be able to connect directly with customers when direct management intervention is required to help resolve customer issues. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

 

DESCRIPTION:

The customer care manager would be responsible for establishing the customer service organization from the bottom up with an initial objective of building a proactive, professional customer service team. Under the manager's leadership, the centralized team would be the primary link between customers, account management/sales and the factories. Establishing clearly defined channels of communication and information sharing will be crucial. In addition, this individual would be responsible for the on-going development, training and growth of the team to ensure that the latest customer service techniques, practices and collaboration tools are introduced and integrated into the group. The manager will help establish a closer linkage between customer service, sales, and plant personnel in order to drive improved communications and responsiveness with customers and ownership of critical order, production and delivery information.

Mexico Sourcing Manager


 

Bachelor's degree in business or engineering. Extensive experience in same role is a must. Direct experience in purchasing/sourcing, managing teams, and negotiations. Select, develop, and maintain right supplier portfolio. Maintain and develop a related supplier database to support the global initiatives and company expansion in Mexico. Focus and consolidate suppliers to develop a base with a reasonable number of suppliers ensuring high leverage effects for the company. Must be available to travel 50% within Mexico to suppliers and company locations. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

 

DESCRIPTION:

The Mexico Sourcing Manager will work will all divisions to identify suitable suppliers and help them source products and services in Mexico. This will be the key person in the region for supplier knowledge, from an Engineering, Quality, and Commercial perspective. Will review all inquiry packages from the different divisions for completeness, and ensure the best possible suppliers are involved for each inquiry. Follow up on all inquiry and transfer projects until realization of saving including benchmark of competitiveness and hit rate of inquiry vs actual order. Research and investigation of market strengths in Mexico, including supplier capabilities and capacity for company needs and business. Maintain database of capabilities and suitability. Support site audits, NPI assessments, sign off, etc.

DESCRIPTION:

Develop and oversee the implementation of purchase strategies which underpin supplier sourcing recommendations for a nominated commodity. Purchasing research for key commodities/products to support the local and regional requirements. Raw material cost and trend tracking. Cost reduction initiatives. Performs cost and market analysis. Assist in the supplier development process to ensure success internally/externally. Prepare, submit and analyze request for quote for integration programs, resourcing or new product development. Review, analyze and negotiate contracts, consistent with the authorized global and regional strategy, within budgetary limitations. May recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing. Be able to conceive an intelligent strategy, making synergies with different plants.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business. 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing organization and in a project management role. Proficient with MS project, knowledge of MRP, manufacturing engineering systems, SPC and quality control methods. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

 

DESCRIPTION:

Lead medium level complexity projects for the plant impacting operations improvement, insourcing opportunities, manufacturing transfers, product VA/VE implementation, or other key initiatives of the organization. Develop detailed project plans and control team tasks to deliver project on-time and on-budget. Complete business case and develop key performance metrics for savings, cost, and timing. Assist in preparing and presenting the CAPEX plan for sr. management approval. Identifies key stakeholders and organizes communication plans, team meetings, and project reporting. Guide decision making and issue resolution across the organization. Identify critical path, potential risks and develop mitigation plans. Ensure quality operating system is updated and in place. Includes: process flow, control plans, PMFEA, customer PPAP, and process capability studies. Ensure manufacturing capacity plans and equipment requirements have been addressed within the project plans. Lead the organization to finalize BOM/Router, standard costing, and change notices. Capable of leading without authority and influencing management decisions. Experience with product standard cost models and margin analysis.
