Quality Manager - Aerospace


REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. 5+ years of experience as a Sr. Quality Engineer or 7-10 years as a Quality Manager in a manufacturing environment. Aerospace and/or space application manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong Automotive experience will be considered. AS9100 Internal Auditing Training. Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

DESCRIPTION:

Support business unit financial objectives through management of the cost of non-conformance (scrap/warranty). Implement and maintain a quality management system (QMS) by flowing down customer/government quality clauses & requirements into internal procedures. i.e. a sustainable QMS that supports business unit objectives via ISO 9001/AS 9100 certifications. Review engineering orders and participate in new design, product/design review in order to ensure quality requirements are identified and captured in appropriate documentation. Coordinate customer evaluations for reported product failures or other complaints and assist in corrective action. Participate in MRB activities, provide guidance with customer MRB requirements and assist in corrective action. Coordinate internal quality audits and report status of QMS compliance management. Participate in cross-functional teams to implement operational excellence initiatives (six sigma, continuous flow manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, etc.) in any manufacturing shop. Manage supplier assessment, qualification and performance of supplier base, which includes assessing, and qualifying new and existing suppliers through on site audits and monitoring receiving inspection performance. Manage/interact with suppliers/distributors on quality issues. Among other tasks.

Superintendent - Plastics & Molding


REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience working in a plastics injection molding environment. Working knowledge of tool steels, engineering grade plastic resins, injection molding machines and processes. RJG certification a plus. Experience in tool design of injection molded parts and design for manufacturing techniques. 2D/3D CAD, Pro Engineer, Solidworks design programs. Able to generate drawings, and define Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Torrance Stack-Up analysis capability. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Distribution Manager


REQUIREMENTS:

Degree or related experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related discipline is desirable with the ability to effectively create/manage a customer focused and productive environment. 8+ years of progressively responsible distribution experience that encompasses warehouse operations management, traffic, and customer service. Proficiency with integrated logistics, warehouse management systems (SAP, JDE, etc.), and Microsoft Suite of products are essential. The ability to strategically meet established goals/objectives is a must. Strong leadership, oral/written communication and analytical skills are necessary. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering is required. 2-3 years of experience in automotive electronics experience. Knowledge of electronic circuits schematics. Understanding of surface mount technologies and electronic circuit tests. Demonstrate analytical and system troubleshooting skills. Ability to present moderate to highly technical materials to diverse audiences. Competent in Mini-Tab, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Tool & Die Maker (leader)


REQUIREMENTS:

Six plus years of related experience. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings and blueprints in English. Ability to complete work order forms and other routine forms in English. Effectively communicate with co-workers and management regarding work and safety issues. Experience in Mexico maquila environment. Experience working with high speed metal stamping and forming dies. Must possess a complete set of toolmaker skills with all shop equipment (wire, EDM, CNC milling, lathe, precision grinding, polishing and fitting) and able to make parts to print. Must have ability to control machines that smooth flat and contour surfaces, grinds and fits assemblies together, and into mechanisms. Must possess advanced manual machining skills including: milling contours, engraving, turning threads, boring pockets,; grinding flats, diameters, shoulders, slots, and dressing radii. Able to perform machining operations with a specified degree of accuracy and within a timely manner. Has working knowledge of advanced shop mathematics (including trigonometry), metal use, metal properties, and heat treatment. Possess comprehensive knowledge of gauges, precision measuring, instruments, and all necessary inspection equipment. Has knowledge of OSHA standards and applicability to machine shop and stamping operations. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Sr. Process Engineer


REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Degree. Experience in electronics and manufacturing industry for at least 5 years. Strong soldering knowledge for wave, selective and point to point process. Strong experience in IPC 610. Strong experience in conformal coating and knowledge for router. Responsible to introduce/validate new equipment or new technologies as needed and spare parts as well. Proactive with high sense of urgency on the equipment's downtime events. Strong Quality/SPC Systems knowledge. DOE and problem solving techniques experience. GR&R/Cpk analysis knowledge. PFMEA and control plan knowledge. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Engineering Services Supervisor/Manager (Electronics)


REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering in an electronics environment. Background in PCBA analysis and test engineering (Lab View, Test Stand, Visual Basic). 3+ years of supervisory/management experience. Experience working in a Mexican Union environment is preferred. Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt. Previous experience successfully working in a bicultural environment. Ability to read and interpret documents relating to all phases of operation of facility. Ability to communicate articulately and effectively, both orally and verbally, with all levels of the organization. DESCRIPTION:

The Engineering Services Manager oversees the interface between the manufacturing site and design engineering centers for implementation of new products, engineering changes, and provides technical product support of production/quality issues that need assistance of design engineering. In addition, the position will interface with all functions at the manufacturing site to ensure proper implementation of new products, design changes, process improvements, and/or equipment to ensure optimal, cost effective solutions for the business.

EHS Leader/Sr. Engineer


REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering preferred. 5+ years of experience in Health & Safety, preferably in a manufacturing environment. OSHA, MSDA, Hazardous materials, experience etc. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

DESCRIPTION:

Manages and administers the Safety and Occupational Health Program. Manages Industrial Hygiene Program and monitoring of employee exposure to hazards. Responsible for all safety-related training, including that related to emergency preparedness, confined space, electrical safety, machine guarding, fall protection, and forklift safety among others. Audits and ensures that the workplace satisfied health, safety and welfare requirements for ventilation, temperature, lighting, sanitary, washing and rest facilities. Establishes appropriate procedures to control the exposure to hazardous substances and danger from flammable, explosive, electrical, noise, and radiation risks. Keeps company environmental record and reports to environmental agencies as needed, including EPA hazardous waste record, air emission permitting, water pollutant discharge and related maintenance and paperwork. Performs routine safety inspections and serves as the primary contact for any insurance and government-related safety inspections. Maintains OSHA injury logs and completes OSHA required reports. Manages safety surveys, evaluations, audits and accident investigation/reporting. Maintains Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) on hazardous material used in the workplace. Coordinates safety committee functions. Ensures adequate provision of first-aid, facilities, safety signs, relevant protective clothing and personal protective equipment. Works closely with Human Resources Manager on various projects including New Hire Orientation, various training initiatives, and Workers Compensation issues. Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
